Jobs for American Graduates: A Community, Together at Work

A career fair was hosted at Jennings High School by the JAG (Jobs for American Graduates) students and their specialist, Dr. Theresa Badgett.   Organizations  such as St. Louis Area YouthBuild, Carpenter Apprenticeship, the Urban League, US military branches as well as locally owned businesses including Nature's Bakery, STS Care Care & Towing, Aramark, and Schnuck's Grocery representatives attended to interview and network with students.  Jennings Superintendent, Dr. Art McCoy, stated that "It was an awesome event," and principal Rhonda Key looks forward to this becoming an annual event hosted by JAG at Jennings.  The 23 vendors in attendance appreciated the opportunity to talk to the students in an organized, yet informal setting.
