JSH Student Council honored at 2022 MASC State Convention

Congratulations to the Jennings High School Student Council (Senior- Anya Johnson, Juniors- Antoine Chillers, Allen Wilson, Dyani Young, and Freshman- Ava Curtis and Janaya Davis), for receiving recognition at the 74th Annual Convention of the Missouri Association of Student Councils for the 8th consecutive year!
Jennings High School Student Council also was one of seven schools in Missouri to be recognized with a Special Olympics of Missouri School of Character- Gold Award in 2021 recognizing student council's work towards inclusiveness of all members of the student body and support of Special Olympics.
During the convention, Dyani Young and Janaya Davis served as Gateway District flag bearers at the opening ceremony which was an honor for the current district president of schools across the state of Missouri. On the final day, our Senior Representative, Anya Johnson was recognized as Class of 2022 Distinguished Student Leader on stage by MASC for her dedication to student council throughout her high school career. Jennings High School teacher, Mr. Spivey, was recognized for his 10 years serving as student council advisor.
