Superintendent Clarence Holman Retirement Celebration
More than 100 staff and administrators attended Superintendent Clarence Holman's retirement party on Thursday, May 17, 2012. The celebration took place the senior high school in the commons area. Mr. Holman, who will retire on June 30, 2012 received special gifts from all school buildings, principals and staff. Board President Rose Mary Johnson, Board Vice President Miranda Jones, along with directors David Green, Reggie Hall and John Schlereth were in attendance.

Kollin Bell Student of the Month
Graduating senior Kollin Bell is daring to make an imprint in the world by testing the limits of his abilities. It is that self-assured attitude that Bell, 19, will be taking with him to college next year as he plans to study anthropology and education at the University of Central Missouri (Warrensburg, MO). Community Garden Opens at Fairview Campus
Students, staff and parents participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Fairview campus on May 9, 2012. The new community garden opened at Fairview Playground with sunny skies and plenty of smiling faces. This garden will be run and maintained by the students and the staff at Fairview Primary and Intermediate schools. (click here for entire story)
