Welcome to the Jennings School District Dashboard

Our Warrior Story

Jennings School District (JSD) served 2,280 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade during the 2024–25 school year, with a dedicated staff of 257 across seven schools. Located in suburban north St. Louis County, the district is 97% African American, with all students receiving free or reduced lunch. The district supports 16% of students receiving special education services, 13% are unhoused, and the student mobility rate is 25%. Despite these challenges, we continue to provide quality academic opportunities and a commitment to developing the knowledge, skills, and dispositions they need to be ready for high school, college, career, and the workplace.

To accelerate growth, JSD has expanded its early childhood education by launching personalized, competency-based learning, supported by new assessment tools and individualized learning plans. Through the monthly MSIP 6 Community of Learners Cafés, we are dedicated to building a learning community that includes all educational stakeholders. Our focus is on understanding educational needs, contributing to district practices that enhance educational outcomes, and ensuring equitable access to quality resources for all students. The district emphasizes collaboration with families and community stakeholders to support the "whole child" and to achieve meaningful breakthroughs in student outcomes.

At JSD, showing up matters. Student learning improves when both staff and students are present and engaged every day. That’s why we celebrate attendance monthly at our Board of Education meetings—recognizing schools, staff, and students who demonstrate outstanding commitment to being present and ready to learn.

We also take time each month to celebrate our students in front of our Board members—not only those who achieve at high levels, but also those who are making significant academic, character, and attendance growth. By honoring both achievement and growth, we highlight the effort, persistence, and excellence that define our JSD community.

Through these celebrations, Jennings continues to build a culture of learning that values consistency, resilience, and success—together.

Jennings School District is proud to partner with the Success-Ready Student Network (SRSN) to support student achievement and future readiness. Through this collaboration, we are working alongside other Missouri districts to develop innovative practices that improve personalized learning, enhance student engagement, and ensure all students graduate prepared for success in college, career, and life. Learn more about the network at srsnmo.org.

The purpose of the data dashboard is to provide a clear and accessible overview of key student and district performance metrics. It allows families, staff, and stakeholders to monitor progress, identify trends, and make informed decisions that support student success. The dashboard promotes transparency and helps align efforts to improve outcomes across the district.

What is the Success-Ready Students Network?

The Success-Ready Students Network is a collaboration of 95 Missouri school districts and 25 organizations focused on supporting students in their learning. We represent rural, urban, and suburban school districts of varying student populations and sizes, and together, we are reimagining and redesigning assessment and accountability systems in Missouri. This innovative, reimagined, and redesigned system equips every student in Missouri with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be high school, college, career, and workplace ready. Jennings is one of the twenty proactive school districts in the Success-Ready Students Network, which is collaborating to implement a personalized, competency-based learning system in our district.

The Warrior Competency-Based Learning System

At Jennings, Our Students Are More Than a Test Score

At Jennings School District, we know that a single test cannot measure a child’s worth. Our students are dreamers, thinkers, leaders, and achievers—and we are dedicated to preparing them for a lifetime of success.

Through our Portrait of a Warrior, we define the qualities that guide our teaching and shape our students into success-ready graduates. A Jennings Warrior is more than academically prepared—they are equipped with the character and skills to thrive in today’s world.

When our students graduate, they don’t just leave with knowledge—they leave with the life skills, resilience, and confidence to accomplish their goals.

At Jennings, we are proud to say: we are not just preparing students for tests—we are preparing Warriors for life.
